Each day, Pine Street’s kitchen staff, food services trainees and volunteers prepare and serve more than 3,000 meals utilizing food donations from bakeries, restaurants, food brokers and individuals. Pine Street's guests receive a variety of nutritious meals 365 days a year thanks to generous supporters like you.Coordinate a Food Drive
Individuals, churches, work places, schools and communities can organize food drives to collect bulk food packages or large quantities of similar Items.We ask for bulk items or large quantities of similar items so we can quickly incorporate donations into the production of meals for our guests and eliminate a labor-intensive sorting process.
Listed below are our most urgently needed items. Please consider selecting one of the following categories for your food drive:
Category 1: Holiday meal
Whole Frozen Turkeys, Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Canned CornCategory 2: Breakfast:
Whole Grain Cereals, Canned Fruit,Sugar, Hot Chocolate Packets
Category 3: Pasta Dinner:
Spaghetti, Elbows or Ziti, Tomato Sauce,Diced Tomatoes, Parmesan Cheese
Category 4: Protein:
Canned Tuna, Canned Ham, Canned Baked Beans,Dry Kidney, Navy, Lentil, Split Pea, Black Beans
Category 5: Cooking Essentials:
Oil, Flour, Spices in 1 lb. Containers(Black Pepper, Chili Powder, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika)

Our kitchen staff prepares family style meals and operates most efficiently while working with larger boxed or canned items. Large products bought at wholesale stores not only cost less per unit — they are utilized more efficiently during production and help the environment by eliminating excess packaging waste.Donate Online

Drop Off Location & Hours
Food donations are accepted at the loading dock of Pine Street’s Ninety Nine Food Service and Job Training building on Paul Sullivan Way in Boston’s South End from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., seven days a week.View Larger Map
