Thanksgiving at Pine Street Inn

Every Thanksgiving, Pine Street holds a traditional celebration for those who have lost their connection to home and family. This year, more than 2,000 meals were prepared for men and women in shelters and housing locations throughout the city, including for those affected by the closing of the Long Island Bridge. This would not be possible without the 200+ volunteers who make sure that no one has to spend the day alone.

"I know this is not my final destination, but I am so grateful to have Pine Street as a stop along the way," says Charlie, a new tenant who spent Thanksgiving with us.

The guests, tenants and staff at Pine Street are so very grateful for your kindness and support.

Happy Holidays!
