Governor maintains shelter funding in FY11 Budget

response to today’s release of Governor Patrick’s FY2011 budget, Lyndia Downie,
President and Executive Director, is releasing the following statement:
Despite the tremendous strain on the state’s budget, Governor Patrick is maintaining his support of innovative programs that move long-time homeless men and women into supportive housing. The FY11 budget allows these programs to continue, and Pine Street Inn applauds the Governor’s vision and commitment to “getting the right resources to the right people at the right time.”
