With help from generous and caring donors and volunteers, Pine Street Inn ensures that Boston’s homeless men and women are not alone or hungry during the holidays.

This Thanksgiving, more than 200 volunteers joined staff to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for 1,500 homeless men and women. Thanks to the Ninety Nine Restaurants and Legal Sea Foods, as well as Au Bon Pain, for making this special meal possible.

A week later, more volunteers came to wrap gloves, hats, scarves and sweatshirts for the guests of the Men’s and Women’s Inns.

These gifts were distributed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, when another 150 volunteers came to prepare and serve special holiday meals, lead guests in carol singing and spread some holiday cheer.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the 2009 holidays special for Pine Street Inn's guests.
